Gratitude Sunday

It seemed fitting that my first blog be a list of thankfulness...

I'll be joining Taryn over at Wooly Moss Roots this morning for Gratitude Sunday - Sunday's heartfelt tradition. A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitudes.s

This week I'm grateful for...

- Jake encouraging me to not give up on the quilt I'm making. This is my first one quilted by hand and it's tedious work, but his pep talk gave me the boost I needed. I felt very lived and supported :)

- The ability to work with my hands and make things

- The Kalamazoo Farmers Market and the veggies I bought there

- Having a car so I can help out with rides for friends who don't have working vehicles right now

- My little balcony garden. Everything is growing so well! I've begun harvesting some herbs, and it's so rewarding to use these little plants I've nurtured the past few months.

- My friend Adrienne re-teaching me how to knit

- An attentive chiropractor who is dedicated to holistic healing

- A simple, uncluttered apartment. Having less keeps my mind so much more peaceful and is less work than when we had more possessions.

- Ice cream :)
